Ableton Meets Up #29

新型コロナウイルスのことで散々悩みましたが、感染症対策をとり、安全第一で開催することにしました。出演者にも再度の確認をとり、変更はありません。会場に来られない方のために、AMT初の試みとなるライブ配信も行います。
We will hold Ableton Meetup Tokyo Vol.29 will be held as scheduled. And for those who can't come to the venue, we also have a live streaming that will be our first attempt.

春分の日開催となるミートアップでは「私のアイデア生成法」を特集！曲を作り始めるときや煮詰まったときに、その突破口となるのは「アイデア」。そのアイデアをどう生み出すのか、3名のプレゼンターに「私のアイデア生成法」紹介してもらいます。1人目のプレゼンターは、AMT初登場となるDJ／プロデューサーのSakura Tsuruta。彼女はAbleton.comのPushパフォーマンス動画にも登場していて、昨年のMUTEK.JPではA/Vセットのライブも披露しました。AMT2回目の登壇となるSaskiatokyoは、オルタナティブでダンサンブルなライブセットを得意とするアーティスト。米レーベルDetroit Undergroundや、日本の電子音楽レーベル+MUSからリリースを重ねています。そしてもう一人初登場のプレゼンターはヴォイスパフォーマーの細井美裕。ICCやYCAMで展示された22.2chサウンドインスタレーション作品「Lenna」が好評を博し、SHUREとMixcloudによる「SHURE24 : 世界のオーディオカルチャーをプッシュする24人」にも選出されています。学生は入場無料です（要写真付き学生証）。終わる頃にはきっと「アイデアって一体何なんだろう」と考え込んでしまうでしょう！

Let’s get together to explore how we generate ideas in our upcoming meet up event on vernal equinox day

Whenever you start a track, or you hit the block during production, ideas play an essential role for creatives to finish a piece of music.
When it comes to this subject, here’s a question that we may have in common: “how can we generate ideas?”
Of course this question has no clear cut answers, but why don’t we ask other artists how they tackle this subject?
Our next meet up event coming up on March 20, 2020 (national holiday!) will have three presentations by three different artists showing us each of their way to generate ideas.

2 入場時に手指の消毒をして頂きます
3 過度の混雑を避けるため人数制限（25名）を行います
4 体温計を用意しますので、不安な方や具合が悪くなった方は検温してください

To run an event in such a situation, we would like to prepare a safe place. Therefore, if you want to visit our meetup, please help us with the following,

1 if you are in the followings, please refrain from admission and see the live broadcast at home.
- Pregnant or having possibility of pregnancy
- Having symptoms of fever or cold
- Being anxious about your health conditions
2 You must disinfect your hands and fingers when you enter the venue
3 To avoid excessive congestion, number of people are limited (around 25 people)
4 We will prepare a thermometer. If you feel sick, please take your temperature.

Sakura Tsuruta (DJ/Producer)
You may have seen her Push 2 performance video on Ableton.com.
She also performed an audio-visual live set in last year’s MUTEK.JP.

Saskiatokyo (Artist/Producer)
She always plays her original live sets with her alternative and danceable styles.
She is also known as a producer with bunch of releases from Detroit Underground as well as from +MUS.

Miyu Hosoi (Artist/Performer)
She is best known as an award winning artist with “Lenna”, exhibited both in ICC and YCAM.
She is also selected as one of the “SHURE24”, the definitive list of people pushing audio culture forward.

Students can join for free as long as you show your student ID at door.

If you can make it to the entire event, you may get inspired. Or you may be ended up asking yourself “What is the idea itself in the first place?”
